Returning in the middle of an ordinary afternoon

Afternoons are where most of us lose the thread. The morning intention is gone and the evening is still far off, so the body carries on without anyone checking in on it.
Stop where you are. Let the out-breath be longer than the in-breath, three times. Feel your feet. That is the whole practice.
Nothing dramatic happens. But you have interrupted the drift, and the rest of the day is met by someone who is actually present for it.
